Anthony LaMorte Furniture builds custom furniture and artwork in Reno, Nevada. This policy explains what information we collect through AnthonyLaMorte.com, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
Anthony LaMorte Furniture is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Anthony LaMorte.

We sell and ship only within the lower 48 United States. We do not offer products or services to customers outside the United States.
Information you give us
When you place an order. Our checkout collects your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and any order notes you choose to add. We need this information to process your order, arrange delivery, and contact you about your purchase.
When you use our contact form. We collect your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
When you call or write to us directly. Much of our work is custom, and most projects begin with a conversation. Whatever you tell us, we keep only what we need to answer your questions and, if you decide to commission a piece, to build and deliver it.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, some information is collected without you entering it:
- Your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Which pages you visit, how long you stay, and which site or link brought you here
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookies Policy
This automatic collection powers our website analytics and our advertising measurement. You can decline it using the cookie banner that appears when you first visit, or at any time through the Cookie settings link in our footer. Declining does not affect your ability to browse the site, use the cart, or complete a purchase.
How we use your information
- To process orders, take payment, and arrange delivery
- To answer your questions and discuss custom work
- To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
- To measure whether our advertising is reaching the right people
- To keep the site secure and to meet our legal and tax obligations
We do not run an email marketing list and have no plans to start one. You will not receive marketing emails from us. If you order from us or write to us, we will reply about that specific matter and nothing else.
Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. When you pay by card, your details go directly to Stripe. When you choose PayPal, you complete the payment through PayPal’s own system. We never receive or store your full card number, bank account number, or security code.
Each company processes your payment information under its own privacy policy, at stripe.com/privacy and paypal.com/us/legalhub/privacy-full. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with enough detail to identify your order and handle refunds.
Who else receives your information
Anthony LaMorte Furniture is a one-person workshop. Only the owner has access to customer records. A small number of service providers necessarily handle some of your information in order to run the business:
- Stripe and PayPal — payment processing, as described above.
- Google — provides Google Analytics, which tells us how visitors use the site. Receives browsing information, not your name or order details.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — provides advertising measurement. See the section below.
- SiteGround and Cloudflare — host our website and protect it from attacks. Handle the technical traffic that reaches our site.
- Shipping and delivery providers — receive your name, address, and phone number so your furniture can be delivered.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
What Meta receives
We want to be specific about this, because it is the part of online advertising people are least often told about clearly.
If you have accepted cookies, our website reports certain actions to Meta so we can measure our advertising. This happens in two ways: through code running in your browser, and through information sent directly from our website’s server to Meta. The second method can include a scrambled, unreadable version of your email address and phone number, which Meta uses to determine whether you saw one of our advertisements. Meta cannot read the original address or number from the scrambled version, but it can match it against information Meta already holds.
If you decline cookies, none of this happens. Both the browser-based and the server-based reporting stop entirely.
We do not sell your information
Anthony LaMorte Furniture does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for payment.
How long we keep information
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for warranty support, accounting, and tax purposes. Our furniture is built to last, and we would rather be able to help a customer years later than delete their record on a schedule. Contact form messages are kept as long as they remain useful for supporting you. Analytics information is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.
Security
Our site uses encryption to protect information in transit, and access to our order records is limited to the owner. No system is perfectly secure, but we have deliberately kept the number of people and services that touch your information as small as possible.
Your choices
Cookies and tracking. Use the Cookie settings link in our footer to accept or decline analytics and advertising at any time.
Your information. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to make these requests. Whether or not the law requires it, we will honor them. We may need to keep certain records for tax or warranty purposes, and we will tell you if that applies.
Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may affect how the site works, particularly the shopping cart.
To make any of these requests, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
